1) coldcut is from the UK. it's a bit disingenuous for them to spur us to revolution, innit?

2) i'm not exactly sure what the message of the video is? lesser of two weevils? go obama? both suck? revolution? looks like just a cheap way for coldcut (toying with irrelevancy) to get some press, if you ask me.

1. nope. it's a global crisis we face. interconnectedness is real. i'd do the same if the u.k. were in the same position the u.s. is.

2. the message is largely anti-establishment, anti-republicans. that bit of anti-obama in there is to give genuine voice to some genuine concerns... so yeah, revolutions, lesser of two weevils, go obama and both suck.

3. coldcut's irrelevancy? maybe. i always loved the dj sets, always hated (most of) the releases. i think this video is relevant, if fairly similar to other things i've seen...
